Therm-a-Rest Treo and Uno Chairs - VIDEO

While at Camp Therm-a-Rest a few weeks back, the new Tranquility Tents were announced but I also got a closer look at other Therm-a-Rest products such as their Uno and Treo Chairs. Both these chairs are light and compact and designed for concert goers and car campers respectively. There’s also a more stable four legged chair called (you guessed it) the Quadra Chair. While this chair was not at Camp Therm-a-Rest, the other two were and I have to admit I spent quite a bit of time lounging in both, just taking in the views from Doe Bay Resort on Orcas Island.

Watch the following quick video overview of both the Therm-a-Rest Treo and Uno Chairs to get a better sense of what they have to offer:

        Therm-a-Rest Uno Chair
The Therm-a-Rest Uno chair is just the right height for festivals and concerts and packs down into its own base. It’s slim design when packed easily slips into a bag or pack and  keeps all the contents secure and compact. When set up the Uno is really stable thanks to it’s large round base and low sit height. The chair is just as comfortable as the Treo but the Uno also has the ability to convert into a table which makes a nice companion to either the Uno or Treo chairs.

        Therm-a-Rest Treo Chair
While the Therm-a-Rest Uno chair has four supports and a single base the Treo has four supports and three legs. The Treo sits quite a bit higher and is therefore easier to get into and out of. It’s more traditional height works well with other camp chairs where as the Uno may make you feel a little small. The Treo has an innovative design that packs down into a case created out of the legs folding together. This provides a nice compact shape which easily stores in your car or is convenient to pack to camp or carry to the beach. The stability of the Treo is pretty good considering it only has three legs at the base, but do be careful after consuming a few camp beverages. Comfort is paramount with the Treo especially when you consider how small it packs down and it’s relatively light weight.
