Next Seasons gear Sneak Peek: Black Diamond Ski Apparel VIDEO
Black Diamond continues to expand their apparel line and new for the 2015/16 season is a dedicated line for skiers. We took a look at the new products at the recent SIA Show with John Dicuollo from Black Diamond. He showed us three specific pieces from this new line, the Black Diamond Deployment Hybrid Hoody, the Black Diamond Recon Jacket and the Pants. In addition to this he showed us the new Pieps Pocket which will appear on every ski pant in this line.

Black Diamond Deployment Hybrid Hoody
The Black Diamond Deployment Hybrid Hoody uses three different fabrics, Primaloft High Loft silver insulation, Schoeller stretch woven nylon and merino wool under the arms and on the back. Strategically placed these fabrics wick moisture and provide breathability where needed most. The Deployment Hybrid Hoody retails for $249US.
Black Diamond Pieps Pocket
The Pieps Pocket is an integrated harness pocket built into Black Diamond ski pants. It works with any transceiver and secures the pocket with a single clip. Rather than wearing your transceiver under your mid layer and shell layer, the Pieps Pocket located in your ski pants increases ease of access and convenience. Impact foam protects the transceiver from damage and a elasticized tether prevents you from dropping it inadvertently.
Black Diamond Recon Jacket & Pants
The Black Diamond Recon Jacket & Pants are hybrid design with wind stopper shell fabric with body mapped Schoeller stretch nylon under the arms and on the back for improved breathability. The pants feature the Pieps Pocket that we spoke of above.
