Next Season's Gear Sneak Peek: Voile X-Series Skis

Voile has always been one of our favourite ski manufacturers and this year they were awarded our coveted Gear Of The Year Award for their versatile Voile V6 Skis. These are the little brother to the Voile V8 skis which we reviewed last season. While both these skis will be in the line up for 2015/16, Voile does have a few new surprises that we are privy to after talking with them at the recent SIA Show in Denver.

New for 2015/16 will be a scaled version of the V6 Skis similar to what we saw on the Voile Charger BC skis. This enables you to climb low angle features without the need to put on your climbing skins.

Also new is the X-series of skis. The new Voile X7 at 107 underfoot and the Voile X22 skis at 122 underfoot. Both skis come with a tight turn radius, early tail rise and soft tail flex which all make for a very playful ski.
