New 2013/2014 Salomon Skis, Boots and Binding at the SIA Show

The Backcountry Skiing Canada crew just returned from Denver Colorado and the SIA show where we got the inside scoup on all sort of new gear for next season.

Our friend Cody Townsend was kind enough to show us the new 2013/2014 skis, boots and bindings from Salomon. In the ski department Cody showed us the Salomon Rocker2 122 Skis, and the Salomon Rocker2 108 Skis, new for next year is the Salomon Rocker2 Junior Skis for your little rippers and the Salomon Rockette Skis at 115 under foot for the lady in your life.The new Salomon Quest line up of skis include the Salomon Quest 105 Skis, the Salomon Quest 95 Skis, the Salomon Quest 98 Skis and the Salomon Quest 90 Skis. All of Salomon's skis include honeycomb technology in the Tip and Tail to reduce swing weight and full twin rocker among other innovative features.

New in boots is the Salomon Quest Max BC (Backcountry) which is a dedicated backcountry AT boot that is lighter than the previous Quest boot and these babies include tech soles if that is your choice of bindings. The  Salomon Quest Max BC boots come with thermal liners, a full custom shell which is heat moldable, hike and ride modes which gives you a nice walk mode option.

Salomon also has a new binding in the Guardian line up called the Guardian 13 AT Binding, this is a lighter version of this years Guardian for those who want to save some weight on their AT binding but still have a burly DIN setting.
