The Hagan Z01 touring binding was just announced and here is what they have to say about it (for the full details click on the jpeg image at the bottom to view it larger):
Ski touring is much more to us than a mere phrase or trend. It is our focus and our passion and has been for decades, so it was a more-or-less logical step to complete our ski line with a binding.
Competence is important to us - it always has been. That is why we have put our heads together with engineers who have years of experience in the development and implementation of touring ski bindings at their fingertipgs. This is why we were able to bring a product to perfection that has demanded a vast pool of know-how and wxperience over a three year development period.
Z01 stands for a safe and secure thoroughbred touring binding with great walking comfort. Double Force functionality stands for safety, walking comfort and ease of use.
Double Force is a functional element in the two piece toe part, in the control rollers, in the pivot-point arrangement and the double carbon reinforcement of the frame. Technical refinement that makes the binding safer, lighter and more comfortable.
