Cool Gear Sneak Peek: Petzl Actik Core Headlamp & NoctiLight - VIDEO
At the recent Summer Outdoor Retailer Show we had a look at two new products from Petzl, the Actik Core Headlamp & Noctilight. Both of these products will be available in January 2017 but we wanted to give you a sneak peek and show you why we thought they were so cool.
The Petzl NoctiLight is a small protective case for your Actik Headlamp (or other compact headlamps), it also does double duty as a lantern by diffusing your headlamps light. It can be hung inside a tent or simply placed on a picnic table to shed light on your next adventure.
The Petzl Actik Core Headlamp uses a USB rechargeable batter that has many benefits, such as:
- Save on batteries: 1 Core = 900 AAA batteries so it’s better for the environment.
- Lighter: It’s 3 grams lighter than using 3 AAA batteries.
- Performance: The Lithium-Ion Core performs better than AAA batteries in colder temperatures.
- Bright: 350 lumens of power with a maximum distance of 110m and a burn time of 100 hours.
