BCA New Backcountry Gear
Backcountry Access has been hard at work developing new products for 2011/2012 and perfecting others. They have a new line of skins, shovels and packs that will be available for next season so read on if you are in need of some new gear for the coming winter (only 6 months to go now).
We will hopefully be getting a few of these products to test for you over the summer months so stay tuned to our Gear Review Page for more info.
Backcountry Access will be offering two new sizes of the Float airbag pack. The airbag and its components will remain the same size, but the pack compartment will differ in each. For the 2011/12 season, the Float line will have 18, 30, and 36-liter packs. See the photos below for a sneak peek of the new airbag packs.
They will also introducing a new line of shovels: the Bomber and updated Arsenal series. These are even stronger and more packable than their current line. Look for these on the retail shelf next fall (they’re good looking too, if you like that kind of thing).
