A plush stretch knit fabric makes the Neoloft soft to the touch and much more comfortable than typical nylon mats. The stretch quality of Neoloft’s fabric conforms to your body and eliminates pressure points, which provides more contouring support.
Therm-A-Rest has built the Neoloft with what they call ContourCore Matrix, which is two stacked rows of triangular chambers with a layer of ThermaCapture that reflects our body heat back at you. This gives the Neoloft a four-season R-value of 4.7 while still keeping its weight down to an impressive 910g / 2lb.
For fast inflation and deflation, the Neoloft is fitted with Therm-A-Rest’s patented TwinLock Valve System which is an innovative one-way air flow valve. This allows you to quickly inflate the Neoloft with the provided high-volume, seam-sealed pump sack inflation bag, which reduces any moisture from your breath getting inside the bag and degrading it. Turn the valve the other way, and you can quickly deflate the Neoloft or adjust its loft to your desired firmness.
