The fabric is held together with an Aviation grade TPU Lamination and to help with inflation and deflation there are now two valves. There’s a one way inflation valve with a micro air pressure adjust button and then a second valve for rapid deflation. This lets you deflate the Aircore Ultra Insulated Sleeping Mat in a flash.

I’ve been camping on the Aircore Ultra Insulated Sleeping Mat for the past month and am impressed at how small it packs down. Since I am 6’1” I’ve been using the 51×182cm / 20×72” version and it packs down to just 12.7×20cm / 5×8”—that’s small! The pad also includes heat reflective technology to help retain heat and is insulated with WRM HL synthetic insulation to provide a temperature rating of -9.5°C / 15°F.

Given how tough and warm the Aircore Ultra Insulated Sleeping Mat is I’m equally impressed at how light it is. At just 595g / 21oz this mat won’t weigh down your pack.
