You also might be wondering why the Sunnto Ambit is so much more expensive then the alternative Garmin Fenix watch even though they have similar features. Well first off having used both of these watches the ambit is about 2 or 3 times easier to use. I used the Garmin for about 3 weeks just to try it out (borrowed a friends) and the whole time I had trouble getting use to navigating around it. The ambit took me about 3 days to memorize everything. Another is the Sunnto is was more comfertable sits on your wrist better and is lighter as well, it feels like its built burlier to even though its lighter. It also sits closer to your wrist which makes it way easier if your wearing a jacket to get the time or set a route. My friend who used the Fenix for a few months who liked it a lot, but the reason it was only used for a few months was because it broke at a local swimming pool, filled with water even though it is suppose to have a 10m rating. He is now getting an Ambit on my reccomendation. even though I only have the core I swear by Sunnto they make the best wristtops on the market. If your looking for a gps wrist top i would say spend the extra cash and get the Ambit!
