COLORS OF MEXICO, NEW COMMENCAL EDIT
So, we’re nearly at Winter’s ridge line. Not quite at the precipice of the season, but getting pretty darn close. As we approach, we are seeing the usual onslaught of rain and rapidly dropping temperatures, which —unfortunately for some — leads to cold hands, stiff and aching joints, and that unshakeable smell of dampness in the cab of the car. Okay, that last one is not that big of a deal but definitely still happens...
Long story short, it’s a great time to fly south. Beaches are hot, the surf is up and the margaritas go down better than anywhere.
Or, if you’re Kilian Bron, head down with a small team and spend a month on the road while you film another vibrant and artfully shot mountain bike edit with Commencal. Seriously, the four minutes is worth a watch! Filmed across a wide spread of urban and outdoor locations, ‘Colors of Mexico’ has Bron flying through cities, riding narrow staircases, crop mazes, train tracks, single tracks and even doing a daring descent of an active volcano. Filmed in a similar style to his previous jaw-dropping edit ‘Follow the Light’ where he rides the fairy chimneys of Capadocia in Turkey, Colors of Mexico is not only an epic mash-up of fast-paced biking, but a 4-minute window into another beautiful corner of the world.
